Finding God in the Powers

Day 1: Creation and Intention

πŸ“– Genesis 1:27–28; Colossians 1:16; John 1:3

From the beginning, God made all things good—including the powers and authorities. Their purpose was order, flourishing, and life.

Ask God to renew your vision of creation’s original goodness.

Take time today to thank Christ as Creator of everything—seen and unseen.

Day 2: The Fall and Rebellion

πŸ“– Genesis 3:1–6; Romans 5:12; Matthew 4:8–9

Sin corrupted God’s design. Powers meant for good now enslave through deception and rebellion.

Where do you see bondage in your own life or in your community?

Bring one of those areas before God today and confess where the enemy has gained ground.

Day 3: Personal Bondage

πŸ“– Psalm 18:4–6; Ephesians 2:1–3; Mark 5:1–13

Powers often attack individuals—through destructive habits, oppression, or inner battles. But God delivers.

Pray for freedom—for yourself or for someone you love.

Share a testimony of how God has set you free. Your story might unlock hope for someone else.

Day 4: Systemic Bondage

πŸ“– Exodus 1:13–14; Ephesians 6:12; Luke 4:18–19

Captivity isn’t just personal—it’s systemic. Racism, poverty, exploitation, and injustice are signs of powers at work.

Ask God to open your eyes to the systemic oppression around you.

Take one practical step for justice this week—sign a petition, support a cause, or speak up for the vulnerable.

Day 5: Christ’s Triumph

πŸ“– Psalm 110:1; Colossians 2:15; John 12:31–32

On the cross, Jesus disarmed the powers. His resurrection was a decisive victory over sin, death, and evil.

Walk boldly in that freedom. You are not a victim—you are more than a conqueror.

Declare Christ’s lordship over every area of your life—finances, relationships, work, and dreams.

Day 6: Discernment of Powers

πŸ“– Daniel 10:12–13; 1 Corinthians 12:10; Matthew 16:23

Not every voice is from God. The Spirit gives discernment to unmask hidden powers—both spiritual and systemic.

Ask God for wisdom to see where deception may be shaping your thinking or community.

Journal one area where you need discernment this week, and ask God to speak truth into it.

Day 7: Final Consummation

πŸ“– Isaiah 11:9; Revelation 11:15; Matthew 25:31–34

One day, Christ will bring everything under His rule. Every power will bow. Every injustice will be undone.

Live today as a preview of that Kingdom—showing others what God’s future looks like.

Choose one action this week that reflects kingdom values—mercy, justice, or reconciliation.
