The Paradox of Ministry and Family Beloved, one of the greatest creative tensions we face in our Christian journey is the balancing act between ministry and family . This is a tension every servant of God wrestles with—not just pastors, bishops, and missionaries, but all believers who are called to both disciple their households and impact the world for Christ . On one hand, the Bible calls us to love and provide for our families: "But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."
